Ohio Veteran Homeowner Guidance
Ohio's disabled-veteran homestead exemption is administered at the county level, and the rules have been the subject of proposals that have not become law. This page points you to our full Ohio guide, names the office that handles the application, and links the related benefit guidance most Ohio veterans need alongside it.
Where filing happens
The disabled-veteran homestead application (Form DTE 105I) is filed with your county auditor, along with documentation of your service-connected disability from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Filing deadlines apply, so check with your county auditor for the current year's deadline.
